An active and vibrant group of students and dedicated staff
The Peace Boarding community serves boarding students ranging in grade from Year 7 - Year 12.
The number of students accepted into boarding from each school year level is capped. This ensures our boarding has a healthy balance of age groups and gender. This balance is essential for forming meaningful friendships, as well as the emotional growth and maturity of each of our boarding students and it also helps to keep the student make-up of our boarding houses as close as possible to a real home environment, with siblings.
A multicultural community environment
Peace Boarding has students from around Queensland and other states of Australia, Cape York and the Torres Strait, PNG, Indonesia, Asia, Africa and India, to name but a few areas.
Sport and being social
Along with academics, Peace Boarding provides a number of sporting and social opportunities through club sports, as well as school-based teams, including rugby league and rugby union, touch football, netball, basketball, and AFL, with social activities scheduled each school term, including ten pin bowling, roller skating, laser tag and trips to the beach and Tablelands communities and attractions in the Hinterland region.
Stay up to date with our students' activities via the Peace Lutheran College Boarding Facebook page.
Limited places are currently available in specific Boarding Houses. Contact our Enrolments Officer to discuss your child's accommodation needs.
